Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to remind all families of our standard procedures regarding student illness during school hours. The health and safety of our student body is our highest priority.
If a student feels unwell and is assessed as unfit to remain in class, our school staff will contact you immediately.
***Please note that students who are unwell must be collected directly by a parent, guardian, or a designated emergency contact***
To maintain our duty of care, we cannot allow sick students to:
Leave the school grounds unescorted
Walk or cycle home independently
Travel home alone via public transport
We kindly ask that you review your contact information on the school portal to ensure we can reach you easily in an emergency. If you need to authorize a different adult to collect your child, please notify the front office ahead of time.
